Practice Nurse - Axminster Medical Centre

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Practice Nurse to join our team at Axminster Medical Centre, working three days per week. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain chronic disease management clinics
  • Ensure ongoing data recording and audit of these clinics
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure adherence to agreed protocols
  • Assist in managing healthcare assistants within the practice
  • Identify training needs and provide support where necessary
  • Foster positive relationships within the nursing team and practice
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered General Nurse qualification
  • Experience working in Primary Care
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from other agencies
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to changing priorities
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £40,257-£46,454 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
