Job Summary:

We are recruiting for a highly skilled Risk Mitigation Specialist to join our client's team in the region. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced health and safety professional to take on new challenges and make a significant impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating safety risks, leading the implementation of effective health and safety policies, procedures, and practices, and promoting a positive health and safety culture. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with Nebosh qualifications and previous experience in a manufacturing setting.

The role also requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as IT proficiency and Microsoft Office expertise. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with production teams, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to drive safety improvements and ensure compliance with current legislation and regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and mitigate safety risks across all areas of the business.
  • Lead the implementation of effective health and safety policies, procedures, and practices to minimize risks and ensure employee well-being.
  • Collaborate with production teams to drive safety improvements, implement effective safety practices, and promote a positive health and safety culture.
  • Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure that machinery and equipment are installed and maintained safely, and ensure compliance with First Aid and Fire Marshall responsibilities as per company policies.

The estimated salary for this role is £62,000 - £72,000 per annum, depending on experience.
