**Competitive Salary:** £65,000 - £85,000 per annum

Job Description:

The Risk Management Assurance Leader will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of risk management strategies across the organization. This includes ensuring that all IT systems and processes are designed and implemented to meet business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with IT systems and processes.
  • Provide assurance and support to stakeholders on risk management matters, including audit and compliance activities.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best practices in risk management to stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements:

To succeed as a Risk Management Assurance Leader, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information systems, risk management).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in an IT or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of IT risk management frameworks, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, GDPR).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
