**Job Title:** Fostering Team Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Welfare Professional to join our Fostering Team as a Fostering Team Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, assessing, and monitoring foster carers to ensure they provide a safe and supportive environment for the children in their care.
Salary: £30 per hour
Responsibilities:
As a Fostering Team Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Recruiting, assessing, and monitoring foster carers to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Attending Placement Planning Meetings when a child is received into care.
- Providing regular supervision and support to allocated foster carers.
Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
