Transforming Mental Health Care in Worcestershire

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our dedicated AMHP hub serving the community of Worcestershire.

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with partner agencies, including Herefordshire & Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, to provide high-quality mental health services. As an Adult Social Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating mental health cases, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.

We welcome applications from qualified professionals who possess a proven track record and experience of AMHP practice, as well as a highly competent level of skill in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. In return, we offer a highly competitive salary of up to £44,711 per annum, plus 20% out-of-hours supplement and additional £3,000 market forces p.a.*

In addition to your salary, you will receive excellent training, professional supervision, and opportunities for progression within our organization. We also offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working, to provide a better work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the legislation governing the AMHP role, including the Mental Health Act, The Care Act, and the Mental Capacity Act. They will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
