Job Title: Residential Childcare Worker

Oldham Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work with young people in care, providing support and guidance to help them develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to help young people overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
