Radis Community Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at School Gardens Extra Care Scheme in Stouport on Severn.

As a Care Team Leader, you will provide support to our extra care complex, delivering specialized care to individuals. Radis recognizes each person as an individual and provides a unique service tailored to their specific needs.

You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervision, meetings, and support to the Care Workers. The role requires you to schedule and allocate work to the Care Workers, ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client-specific.

You will also support with medication, personal care tasks, and offer support within the community. Additionally, you will participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis' housing-related support duties when emergency cover is required.

Established in 2001, Radis Community Care has grown to become a leading provider of community-based social care and support for thousands of vulnerable adults and children in England and Wales.

We care for a range of service users, including the elderly and those with physical and/or learning disabilities. Our care is tailored to meet individual needs, ranging from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care, and can be short or long-term.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker/Team Leader is advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn in line with clients' needs and expectations.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check, and a driving license with access to a vehicle will be advantageous as some travel may be required for the role.
