About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioural Support Worker to join our team at Look Ahead. As a Behavioural Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, promoting their emotional and psychological wellbeing, and helping them develop the life skills they require to meet their assessed needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and monitor customer behaviours, identifying factors that may alleviate or trigger them.
  • Plan and implement appropriate interventions to modify and resolve behaviours.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, their families, and other support organizations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement behaviour support plans.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless support.
  • Report any concerns or observations related to customer welfare.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the service.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum years of experience working with customers with Autism/Behaviour that challenges and Diabetics.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Driver's license.
