We are seeking an experienced Youth Support Team Leader to join our team at Hertfordshire County Council. As a key member of our youth services team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of Youth Support Workers and Volunteers in delivering high-quality services to young people aged 11 to 17.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate curriculum-based groupwork projects to support the development of young people's skills and confidence.
- Work one-to-one with vulnerable and at-risk young people to help improve their future prospects.
- Manage safeguarding issues and health and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of service users.
- Forge relationships with partner organizations to enhance service delivery.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to inform service improvement.
Requirements
- Experience of youth work in a paid or voluntary capacity.
- Strong IT, record-keeping, organizational, and planning skills.
- Ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
