Process Technician

Are you an experienced Process Technician looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at a waste-to-energy business near Stratford upon Avon.
As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for improving efficiencies in the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant. Your key tasks will include:
• Operating and optimising plant processes to meet production targets for volume, quality, and efficiency
• Collaborating with your shift team to drive improvements and tackle challenges head-on
• Conducting vital calibration, sampling, and safety checks on a daily basis, ensuring all systems run smoothly
• Monitoring and maintaining key equipment, including steam and gas fired boilers, ensuring the production area is clean and tidy
• Co-ordinating loading and storage of wood in yard area
Requirements:
• Operational experience with SCADA, Operator Interface Control Systems, and PLC-based equipment
• A proactive mindset with a passion for efficiency and a natural instinct for safety
• Physical fitness to navigate the demands of a production site
Preferred Qualifications:
• Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 2-5 years in a processing environment
