Electrical and Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the stripping down and replacing of Electrical and mechanical items on Rolling Stock unit class 390.
Key Responsibilities:
* Stripping down and replacing of Electrical and mechanical items
* Completing Electrical and Mechanical re-fits from written work instruction
* Testing and inspecting all replaced components
Requirements:
* Previous Rail experience is preferred but not essential
* A Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an Electrical is a must

Position Summary:
This position will include the stripping down and replacing of Electrical and mechanical items on Rolling Stock unit class 390. You will be expected to complete Electrical and Mechanical re-fits from written work instruction so you must be competent in this area. You'll be expected to test and inspect all replaced components. This is a Safety Critical position and is a requirement against the Service Agreement (SA).
Person Profile/Experience:
Previous Rail experience is preferred but not essential. Ideal industries considered: Rail, Avionics (commercial), HVAC, Process Engineering, Production Plants, Special Purpose Machinery, Defence.
Qualifications:
A Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an Electrical is a must.
