Job Title: Drilling Procurement Analyst

At Oceaneering, we are seeking a skilled Drilling Procurement Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our workshop, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient planning and management of materials and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage our ERP system to ensure accurate lookahead of workshop materials and parts requirements.
  • Proactively communicate materials and parts slippage that may impact the workshop production schedule.
  • Coordinate with buyers to ensure that all attributes for workshop demand are being followed and met.
  • Review PeopleSoft CRR daily to ensure flow of material availability to the workshop schedule.
  • Identify areas of procurement risk and/or schedule conflict to the workshop leadership team in a timely manner.
  • Conduct proactive material planning by analyzing demand forecasts and historical data to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Anticipate shortages, coordinate with buyers and suppliers, and recommend adjustments to replenishment settings based on the workshop's forecasted activity.
  • Participate in daily workshop meetings and demonstrate strong critical thinking and logic skills.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and PeopleSoft ERP System.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
