About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to play a critical role in the successful design of data solutions and projects, and their architectural governance. The Data Architect will be responsible for proposing, championing, synthesising, developing, refining and leading the development of defined enterprise-level and tactical data architectural artefacts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation of Data Solutions: Develop and implement data models, including statistical modelling and machine learning techniques, to support business decision-making.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Apply statistical methods to generate insights and optimise existing and future business processes through A/B testing and data analysis.
  • Machine Learning and Algorithm Design: Design and implement ML algorithms, evaluate and present results, and provide oversight of model quality and performance.
  • Reporting and Dashboard Provision: Design and provision of reporting and dashboards to provide oversight of model quality and performance.
  • Integration and Governance: Manage the definition, maintenance and resolution of accuracy drift and model performance from a computational resource perspective, and establish good governance of code and model maintenance.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of current analysis techniques, tools and methods appropriate to data modelling across Relational and transactional databases, including entities, sub-entities, intersection entities, relationships, cardinality, intersection resolution, normalisation and de-normalisation.
  • Project Management and Stakeholder Management: Knowledge and experience in project management and stakeholder management.
  • Graph Databases and Search Services: Knowledge and experience in the implementation of graph databases and search services.
