Responsibilities:

Design and uphold the security architecture for IT initiatives, ensuring compliance with security protocols and delivering solutions that resonate with strategic objectives and infrastructure needs.


Main Duties:

Architectural Leadership:
Act as the principal authority on architecture design for various projects and programs.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:
Engage closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that solutions provide tangible business advantages.

Ownership of Solutions:
Develop high-level architectural designs and solutions that fulfill the technical requirements of IT Services clients.

Strategic Alignment:
Ensure that detailed designs and technologies are in sync with the Chief Information Technology Officer's (CITO) strategic vision.

Adherence to Security Standards:
Ensure compliance with security best practices, particularly for core renewal initiatives.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Work alongside other DDAT teams to guarantee that proposed designs are compatible with existing or future infrastructures.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Manage expectations to ensure that designs meet the necessary business functionalities and requirements.

Guidance for Third-Party Resources:
Direct third-party resources in the development of solutions, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality benchmarks.

Knowledge Dissemination:
Encourage knowledge sharing to promote the reuse of data, processes, and technologies across various projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience:
A robust background as a Security Technical Architect within corporate Information Systems environments.
Proven experience in delivering architectural components, particularly in outsourced service frameworks.

Security Expertise:
Comprehensive understanding of security technologies and principles, including:
Cloud Security
Network Security
Identity and Access Management
Operating Systems (Windows, Linux)
Perimeter Security
IT Risk Management with a focus on security
Security Protocols, Authentication, and Authorization
Implementation of security solutions
Third-party auditing

Collaboration Skills:
Proficient in working within multidisciplinary teams to address business challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Acumen:
Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Knowledge of Security Applications:
Understanding of specific security applications.
