Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team in providing specialist clinical assessment and intervention to adults with ADHD.

The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatry and adult ADHD, with strong supervisory skills in caseload management and clinical supervision.

This is a full-time position with the possibility of part-time or remote working arrangements.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive holistic ADHD assessments for adults with suspected ADHD, as well as reassessments of needs for adults previously diagnosed with ADHD.

You will also be responsible for delivering pharmacological interventions for the treatment of adult ADHD, including medication follow-up appointments and monitoring treatment response.

An essential aspect of this role is ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely recording on Trust electronic systems of clinical information.

Additionally, you will make recommendations to the wider team and referrers on additional assessments or interventions required to deliver evidence-based care plans.

As a Mental Health Specialist, you will promote involvement and engagement of clients/service users and carer relatives in the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care.

Furthermore, you will develop and deliver non-pharmacological interventions and treatment for those with adult ADHD.
