About this role

At Capital One, we're looking for a skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Specialist Customer Support Team member, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers in the best possible way.

Key responsibilities
  • Have effective and impactful conversations with our customers to understand their individual circumstances and agree on a suitable solution from a range of options that will support them.
  • Understand industry regulation and how it matches with Capital One policies to provide accurate and informed support.
  • Remain customer-focused and put them at the centre of every decision, using empathy and strong communication skills to build trust and rapport.
  • Support our customers through challenging and sensitive situations, taking into account any vulnerabilities and signposting them to additional support resources when needed.
  • Use your judgement when assessing the right outcome for the customer, always prioritising their needs and well-being.
