Middleton on the Wolds, East Yorkshire, United Kingdom East Riding of Yorkshire Council Full time
Lead SEND Provision Across Three Rural Schools

We are seeking a qualified SENDCo to join our team at the Wolds Federation of Schools, a federation of three small rural schools with a passion for inclusive practice and providing the best education for all children.

As a non-teaching SENDCo, you will lead on SEND provision across all three schools, supporting the leadership team to ensure all elements of the SEND code of practice are followed. You will work closely with class teachers to meet the diverse needs of children, partner with parents to provide the best support for their children, and be the link between external agencies and the schools.

This is a 13-hour per week role, equivalent to two days a week, with opportunities for flexible working and remote work. You will need to transport yourself between the three schools, with mileage costs paid.

We require the successful candidate to speak English with sufficient fluency to effectively perform their duties, as required by Section 42 of the Immigration Act 2016.

We are committed to keeping children safe in education and will carry out an online search on all shortlisted candidates in line with statutory guidance.

If you are passionate about making a difference for children with SEND and their families, and want to find creative ways to support teachers and teaching assistants, we would love to hear from you.
