Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Booking Administrator to join our team. As the first point of contact for clients and interpreters, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. Your primary responsibilities will include processing bookings and inquiries efficiently, scheduling appointments for interpreters, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for managing interpreter availability, confirming bookings, making amendments as required, and filling short-notice emergency bookings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process bookings and inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Schedule appointments for interpreters
  • Answer the telephone and be the first point of contact for clients and interpreters
  • Provide and maintain excellent customer service
  • Manage interpreter/translator availability
  • Confirm bookings and make amendments as required
  • Fill short-notice emergency bookings
  • Perform filing and general office administration tasks

Requirements:
  • Be a confident, self-motivated individual with a friendly and personable manner
  • Be able to multi-task under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
  • Be a strong verbal and written communicator
  • Be confident speaking over the phone with clients and interpreters
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Be highly organized, accurate, and pay great attention to detail
  • Be able to work as part of a team, but also independently

Salary Range:
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
