Job Title: Cash and Carry Channel Lead Specialist

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Company Overview:

Lamb Weston EMEA is a leading supplier of frozen potato products, and we are seeking a skilled Cash and Carry Channel Lead Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth in the cash and carry channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Establish and execute comprehensive sales strategies for cash and carry accounts, leveraging clear category insights to drive sales growth and achieve category captaincy.
  • Account Management: Prepare sales goals and objectives, develop account profiles, and manage forecasts, quotations, and contract management for cash and carry accounts.
  • Customer Relations: Expand and maintain a strong customer relation network, focusing on developing and maintaining critical customer relationships with key decision-makers in the cash and carry sector.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and realise new business opportunities across the portfolio of accounts and as to agreed new business targets.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through regular communication and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or marketing.
  • Experience: Between 5-8 years of professional sales experience in an international (food or produce) company, preferably with branded experience in the cash and carry sector.
  • Retail Knowledge: Experience working with grocery retailers at a junior level, with a solid understanding of retail buyer behavior and merchandising.
  • Wholesale Network: Experience working in the wholesale foodservice network is essential.
  • Strong P&L Management: Strong P&L management skills and a demonstrated track record of delivering growth results in the Cash and Carry or Wholesale sector.
  • Personal Qualities: A driven, self-starter personality who is keen to learn and grow with the business, thriving in an environment that provides autonomy and empowerment.
