Technical Support Officer

We are seeking a Technical Support Officer to join our Fish Health team in Dover. This key position will deliver operational, technical, and administrative support for fish health related tasks and projects.
The role involves:
- Developing and executing fish health assessments, disease investigations, and veterinary health certificates.
- Conducting sampling and investigations at hatchery and marine sites following mortality events or unusual fish behavior.
- Ensuring compliance with animal welfare standards across all farming operations and reporting any non-compliance.
- Collaborating with leadership to implement our Veterinary Health Plan, including protocols for fish health, biosecurity, and animal welfare.
- Contributing to research initiatives, assisting with reporting and analysis of company projects, and managing delegated projects.

Requirements
We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of fish biology, water chemistry, and production cycles in both marine and freshwater environments. Coxswain certification and/or practical experience in boat operations is desirable. Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting is essential.
