As a Housekeeping Assistant at St Catharine's College, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of college rooms, ensuring a comfortable living environment for students and staff.

You will work closely with the facilities team to develop effective cleaning procedures and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and service college rooms, common areas, and other facilities to a high standard.
  • Communicate effectively with students, Fellows, visitors, and colleagues to address any concerns or issues.
  • Work efficiently and manage your time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Working Conditions:
  • This is a permanent part-time appointment, subject to a 6-month probation period.
  • Hours of work will be between 27.5 - 30 hours per week, worked across 5 days which may include occasional weekends.
  • The annual salary for this role is £24,429.60, or £17,915 for 27.5 hours/week or £19,543 for 30 hours/week.
  • You may be required to work across various College properties within the city of Cambridge.
