We are seeking a highly skilled Water Services Specialist to join our dedicated Maintenance team at Churchill College. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all water services, including heating systems, boilers, pumps, valves, and pipe work.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing principles and practices. They will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety, service, and sustainability.

We require a qualified plumber with at least 3 years of industry experience. A strong understanding of plumbing regulations and codes is essential, as well as experience working with diverse teams and managing complex maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the college estate remains safe and well-maintained.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance overall performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Plumbing and Heating Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a similar trade role.
  • Certification in first aid and manual handling, as well as a valid UK driving license.

Salary: £30,032 - £38,112 per year
