As a Water Recycling Asset Optimisation Engineer at Anglian Water Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our water recycling facilities. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support, conducting site audits, and identifying opportunities for business improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Water Recycling operational teams to identify and promote optimisation opportunities
  2. Develop and implement effective solutions to reduce operational costs and business risks
  3. Work with our optimisation delivery engineers and third-party contractors to ensure capital investment projects are scoped, designed, and successfully completed
  4. Use available data to effectively monitor and validate projects' benefits

Requirements:

  1. ONC/HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  2. Categorised Electrician 3 (or working towards if previously held)
  3. Good all-round experience in control and instrumentation backed up by a solid knowledge of practical electrical principles
  4. Excellent communication skills with the experience of building and managing productive, credible business relationships with colleagues and managers
  5. Good understanding of IT systems and applications (experience of using telemetry systems, HMIs, Scada, PLCs as well as SAP would be advantageous)
