About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Anglian Water's @one Alliance. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical part in the successful delivery of our projects, ensuring that our work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks, and approvals.
  • Support the Site Manager in liaising with the Engineering and Integration team to resolve conflicts and ensure work is carried out in line with specifications and drawings.
  • Assist the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management, liaising with commercial, procurement, and planning teams and supply chain management.
  • Support the Site Manager in calling off materials, stock control, and liaising with the procurement team to ensure orders are not exceeded without authority.
  • Highlight any areas of concern before they become an issue.
  • Ensure programme, quality, and cost are delivered.
  • Always explore alternatives to identify better ways of delivering the need.
  • Minimise waste by ordering the required materials to optimise project performance.
  • Minimise capital carbon through innovation, substitution, and elimination.

About You

You will be able to demonstrate experience of being part of large-scale infrastructure programmes of work, the ability to plan ahead, and ideally experience of Temporary Works supervision or lifting supervision. You should have a proactive approach to resolving unexpected technical difficulties, a can-do attitude, and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done, and a desire to pursue a career in construction.
