We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Diet Service Technician. This is a 1-year fixed-term position at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare milk feeds and therapeutic meals for children in the hospital setting.
- Accurately check production stock delivery and report any discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain equipment performance, including pasteurizers, bottle washers, and refrigeration units.
- Assist in the organization and receipt of stock items, ensuring proper storage and handling.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication with hospital staff.
- GCSE or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
- Food Safety Level 2 certification.
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Word and touch screen tablet functions.
- Previous experience in a customer service-related environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety protocols.
This role requires working 13 hours on alternate weekends, with a focus on providing high-quality food preparation and support services to our patients and staff.
