Job Title: Charge Nurse

As a Charge Nurse at Elysium Healthcare, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the quality and management of nursing care and delivering clinical services in a Mental Health setting. You will oversee and provide high-quality care and support to people, while supporting your team and colleagues and promoting good teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate nursing tasks to Nurses working in the unit and coordinate with other teams
  • Monitor service users' conditions and respond to changes
  • Supervise other members within the team's unit and provide guidance and support
  • Make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Be liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, with effective communication and collaboration

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification
  • NMC registration
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of leadership skills
