Foreign Rights Acquisition Manager

We are an established independent publisher based in East Sussex with a long history of producing high-quality publications. Our portfolio includes three imprints: GMCP (craft & lifestyle), Ammonite Press (illustrated reference, gift and practical photography) and Button Books (design-led children's books). We are now seeking a Foreign Rights Acquisition Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in foreign rights acquisition, licensing, and sales. They will be responsible for identifying and securing new co-edition and licence opportunities across all imprints and territories, as well as building and maintaining relationships with international publishers.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess excellent negotiation and contract management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the publishing industry. A proven track record of delivering results in a similar role is essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an attractive benefits package.
