Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as learning difficulties and special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex needs, including those with Autism and Down's Syndrome
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote student well-being and academic success
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive education
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting positive relationships and behaviors
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in youth work, education, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries
  • Right to work in the UK, with no sponsorship offered
