We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Calderdale Learning Disability Community Health Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist clinical psychology services to clients with learning disabilities, autism, and dementia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality assessments and interventions to clients with learning disabilities, autism, and dementia.
- Work collaboratively with non-psychologist colleagues, professionals from other agencies, and carers to provide comprehensive care.
- Supervise and support Psychology Assistants, Trainees, and Band 7 HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologists.
- Contribute to the development of the team and service through research, audit, and policy development.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients with learning disabilities, autism, and dementia.
- Ability to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team.
