Clinical Team Lead for Community Neuro Services

The post holder will work as a leader within the Community Neuro team in North Lincs, leading a small team of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff in the provision of rehabilitation for neurological patients known to the rehabilitation medicine team and for stroke patients on the pathway.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide a high standard of rehabilitation, undertaking all aspects of clinical duties both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a specialist team. In this role, there is an opportunity to support individuals to reach their maximum potential and to maintain quality of life in the community as part of a wider MDT.
The post holder will be responsible for managing their own caseload and coordinating the supervision, education, and assessment of students, assistants, and junior therapists in their area. They will also participate in the planning, development, maintenance, and evaluation of the community therapy service, contributing to the strategic planning and informing the Manager of any developments, needs, etc.
The ideal candidate will have significant post-graduate experience as a Band 6 in a relevant clinical field/settings, with highly developed specialist assessment and management skills. They will also have in-depth knowledge of Specialist Equipment and housing adaptations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff in the provision of rehabilitation for neurological patients known to the rehabilitation medicine team and for stroke patients on the pathway.
- Manage their own caseload and coordinate the supervision, education, and assessment of students, assistants, and junior therapists in their area.
- Participate in the planning, development, maintenance, and evaluation of the community therapy service, contributing to the strategic planning and informing the Manager of any developments, needs, etc.
- Identify and support the achievement of learning needs of individuals/team in response to service need and personal development planning.
