Job Summary:

Swim England is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Head Coach to join our team. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for leading and developing our swimming programs, working closely with our head coach and other team members to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective coaching plans to improve swimmer performance and achieve team goals.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of coaches and swimmers to achieve excellence in swimming.
  3. Collaborate with the head coach and other team members to develop and implement coaching strategies and programs.
  4. Conduct regular coaching sessions, providing feedback and guidance to swimmers and coaches.
  5. Monitor and evaluate swimmer progress, making adjustments to coaching plans as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Coaching Swimming: Level 2 Award in the Principles of Coaching (QCF)
  • Proven experience in coaching swimming, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
