About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled Cognitive Behavioural Therapists to join our team in Preston, Lancashire.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for dynamic and self-motivated individuals to work with us in delivering a range of support to help people make positive changes to reduce stress and anxiety and improve their wellbeing.

You will be providing high quality CBT to adults with common mental health problems including those with a degree of complexity, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of team policies and procedures.

  • To provide clinical supervision and mentoring to cognitive behavioral therapists and trainees.
  • To deliver a CBT service in accordance with NICE guidelines, meeting key performance indicators and agreed activity levels.
  • To provide advice and consultation on clients' care, to non-CBT colleagues and to non-professional carers.
  • To utilise research skills for audit policy and service development and research within the areas served by the team.
About Us

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health, and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The estimated salary for this role is around £42,000 - £62,000 per annum depending on experience, and we offer a competitive benefits package including flexible working arrangements.
