Job Title: Theatre Practitioner - Orthopaedics and Spinal

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team in Orthopaedics and Spinal. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our surgeons in delivering high-quality surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for surgical procedures
  • Ensure accurate collection of data related to theatre activity
  • Prepare patients for clinical and operative procedures
  • Participate in the delegation and supervision of junior grades and unqualified staff

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (Adult and/or Children) or HCPC registered with a Diploma or Degree in Health Care Studies/OOD Level 3 NVQ/OOD 752
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including long days, early starts, and late finishes
