About the Role

At Jacobs, we're seeking an experienced Radiography Coordinator to join our team in ensuring the high performance of radiography preparations, planning, and interface arrangements in the radiography support function.

The successful candidate will work on-site at Hinkley Point C, collaborating with contractors to identify risks and find solutions that ensure safety without compromising it. They'll also work closely with the NNB Health and Safety team and subject matter experts to guarantee technical compliance of radiography operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the effective management of radiography preparations, planning, and interface arrangements.
  • Collaborate with contractors to identify and mitigate risks related to radiography operations.
  • Work closely with the NNB Health and Safety team to guarantee technical compliance of radiography operations.
  • Monitor work progress and adherence to safe systems of work expectations.
Requirements
  1. PCN or equivalent ISO 9712/ASME level 2 radiographer qualification, current preferred but lapsed qualifications accepted.
  2. Previous experience as a Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) minimum.
  3. Proven experience working on large construction/refit projects with significant levels of radiography.
  4. Familiarity with other non-destructive testing techniques/standards, such as ultrasonics and surface inspection, is an advantage.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the nuclear sector.
  6. Familiarity with the IRR2017 regulation.
  7. Able to work effectively within a team to achieve excellent delivery.
