Studio Manager

We are seeking an experienced Studio Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of new product development projects, from initial concept through to final production.

The ideal candidate is a skilled multi-tasker who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is eager to contribute to our growth journey at Pineapple.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plot project timelines in coordination with Heads of Department.
  • Maintain all project documentation, such as trackers, plans, and reports.
  • Communicate with team members regularly in assigning tasks and updating progress.
  • Organise team meetings and note taking, ensuring the team's weekly priority lists and actions are updated and shared.
  • Track project progress and provide regular feedback to Heads of Department and Senior Management, communicating any project risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations to update senior management on project progress as required on behalf of the NPD & Materials team.
  • Maintain record keeping spreadsheet of quotations for review with the Head of Product Development.
  • Liaise with our transport team to organise delivery and pick up of products.
  • Component ordering and raising PO's.
  • Update data within our new product information sheets.
  • Assist with keeping product costing sheets up to date.
  • Log the NPD & Materials teams' project working hours.
  • Assist the team in product research and report generation as required.
  • Maintain log of patent applications and IP clearance, keeping design protection records up to date.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of project planning and project planning tools, managing physical products.
  • Excellent MS office knowledge, particularly MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. In the future we will be using MS Projects.
  • Highly organised with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • The ability to multitask to a high level and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good research and report writing skills.
  • A background in Manufacturing and / or Design, or an interest in design / product development would be advantageous.
  • Must be passionate about the brand, with a curious mindset who is willing to learn.
  • Have a flexible, can-do attitude to work.
  • Confident, with the ability to be proactive.
  • Hardworking, conscientious and take pride in your work.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and drive.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
