Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Screening Practitioner to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in the Bowel Cancer Screening programme.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide specialist nursing and act as an identified key worker for patients participating in the BCSP. You will collaborate with a range of health professionals to ensure efficient and effective operation of the service.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will participate in health promotion activities with local services and charities to improve access to screening. You will also work collaboratively with the Programme Hub and maintain accurate records using multiple digital systems.

The successful applicant will receive a structured orientation programme, detailed IT training, and a funded educational module specific to developing in the Specialist Screening Practitioner role. Opportunities for Continuing Professional Development and further academic study are available and actively encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
