Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Coalesce Management Consulting. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a critical role in supporting our £800m regeneration project in the Deeside area.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly valuations and agreement of final accounts to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
- Assisting in the resolution of issues on site that have cost implications, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Procurement of materials and negotiation of best prices to optimize project costs.
- Redeeming retentions outstanding on previously completed projects from clients, ensuring prompt payment.
- Assisting in the drafting and reviewing of financial reports to provide accurate project status updates.
- Chief responsibility for relaying communication for all project status updates, ensuring seamless information flow.
- Administering cost and variation procedures on projects, ensuring compliance with all standards and codes of practice.
- Settling accounts and disputes in a fair and timely manner.
- Procuring and managing sub-contractors to ensure high-quality services and timely delivery.
- Ensuring 100% accurate subcontract packages with no revisions required, streamlining project execution.
Requirements
- 10 years' experience in industrial/construction projects, with a strong understanding of official regulations.
- Exemplary knowledge of official regulations, with experience in Energy from Waste/Major Works/Construction projects highly desirable.
- A degree/equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as construction management or quantity surveying.
