**Role Overview:** SEN Teaching Assistant
**Location:** Maidstone, Kent
**Daily Rate:** £100+ per day
We are seeking highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team at our special needs schools in Maidstone. Our schools cater to students with a range of special needs, including autism and physical disabilities.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their learning activities and help them to achieve their full potential
- Work closely with teachers to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Provide personal care and assistance to students with physical disabilities
- Manage challenging behaviour and de-escalate conflicts when necessary
**Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Patient and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
