Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Angel Kings Cross. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Front Office, Porterage, Nights, Reservations, Housekeeping, and Public Area departments to deliver an exceptional guest and team member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Front Office, Porterage, Nights, Reservations, Housekeeping, and Public Area departments to ensure high levels of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the hotel's commercial performance by developing new opportunities to maximize upsell revenue, fill night conversion, room type performance, and other operating revenue streams.
  • Manage compliance with legal obligations, minimizing risk for the company by ensuring that Health & Safety, security, data protection, financial, and other policies and procedures are consistently implemented.
  • Foster a culture of care and growth for our team members, encouraging them to thrive and grow professionally.
  • Be visibly present in operations at peak times and be confident and capable of dealing with unexpected situations professionally.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hotel operations management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends.
