Job Summary
The Senior Administrator will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of administrators, ensuring the provision of a professional and competent service. This includes supervising a team of administrative staff, providing information and support to managers, and being responsible for organising and controlling own and others workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of administrative staff, including undertaking appraisals, supervision, training, and development of band 3 staff.
- Provide information and support to managers on the performance and conduct of members of staff and support with all informal and formal processes.
- Be responsible for organising and controlling own and others workload, ensuring deadlines are observed and duties performed efficiently.
- Provide cover as directed by Line Manager for other members of the team in their absence and assist with their workloads, as necessary.
Requirements
- Significant experience in senior secretarial/administrative position.
- Demonstrate awareness of organisational policies and ability to translate into working practice.
- Organising, attending and taking notes at senior level meetings.
- Able to demonstrate a positive approach towards change and ability to lead staff.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
