Associate Director Job Description

As an Associate Director at Turner & Townsend Group, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to lead Project Management commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery that meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Project Management commissions, taking ownership of service delivery from start to finish.
  • Provide support on major Project Management commissions, focusing on specific aspects of service delivery.
  • Establish and manage project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, health, and environmental regulations on project commissions.
  • Develop and implement effective project governance, processes, and systems to drive project success.
  • Lead project planning, including creating detailed project plans and advising on resource procurement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional project teams and monitor project performance using performance management techniques.
  • Manage project finances, including advising on contract administration, claims resolution, and disputes.
  • Communicate project progress and other reports to stakeholders through regular meetings and written updates.
  • Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including leading bids and managing small teams.
Requirements:
  • Professionally qualified in a relevant field, such as construction, project management, engineering, surveying, or architecture.
  • Experience working with law firms or in a legal setting.
  • Senior management experience, ideally with a professional body membership (RICS, APM, CIOB).
  • Experience working with leading consultancies and delivering CAT A/CAT B office projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects exceeding 60,000 sqft.
