About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Recovery Worker to join our team at CrossReach. As a key member of our Recovery team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey, providing crucial guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.

About the Service

The Highland Residential Recovery Service is a newly established facility that aims to reduce waiting times for support, offering immediate residential rehabilitation for up to 22 individuals. Our service is funded by the Scottish Government's Rapid Residential Rehabilitation Capacity Program, and we are committed to providing timely support to enhance recovery outcomes and foster positive community contributions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Recovery team in providing person-centered care and support to individuals in their recovery journey
  • Develop and implement individualized recovery plans, working closely with the Service Manager and other team members
  • Provide guidance and support to individuals, helping them to achieve their goals and overcome challenges
  • Collaborate with other agencies and services to ensure seamless support and care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold an SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or an equivalent qualification in Social Work, Nursing, or a related field. You will also need to have a strong understanding of substance use and the diverse needs of those seeking support. Given the 24-hour nature of this residential service, you will be expected to work various shifts and share on-call duties with the Service Manager.
