About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Recovery Worker to join our team at CrossReach. As a key member of our Recovery team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey, providing guidance, and facilitating group sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support individuals in their recovery journey, providing guidance and facilitating group sessions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Recovery team to ensure a comprehensive and person-centered approach to support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of recovery plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide education and support on substance use and mental health, promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being.
  • Work closely with other services and agencies to ensure a seamless and effective support network.
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or equivalent qualification in Social Work, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of substance use and mental health, with experience in supporting individuals in recovery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and share on-call duties with the Service Manager.
