About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16-21 who are at risk of homelessness or leaving care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently.
- Work closely with other professionals, such as social workers and housing officers, to ensure that young people receive the support they need.
- Help young people to access education, training, and employment opportunities, and support them in their personal and social development.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for young people, and help them to build positive relationships with others.

Requirements
- You will have a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by young people, and be able to provide emotional support and guidance in a non-judgmental and empathetic way.

- You will be able to communicate effectively with other professionals, including social workers, housing officers, and education providers.
- You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
