Special Education Needs Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN/SEMH Teacher to join our team at a school that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
About the RoleAs a SEN/SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to small classes of students with SEMH needs. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement individualized education plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver creative and therapeutic lessons that promote social, emotional, and academic growth
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate with the team to identify and address the educational, social, and therapeutic needs of students
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
We are looking for a qualified and experienced SEN/SEMH Teacher who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children. You will have a strong understanding of the needs of students with SEMH and be able to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key requirements include:
- QTS/QTLS or relevant experience as a teacher
- Professional or personal experience working with vulnerable children, with additional needs, challenging behaviors, or mental health needs
