About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Engineer to join our esteemed department as a Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of future agricultural engineers through engaging lectures, practical demonstrations, and hands-on workshops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality teaching programs that equip students with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the agricultural engineering industry.
  • Conduct research and development activities focused on sustainable agricultural practices, precision farming technologies, and renewable energy systems.
  • Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to create real-world solutions to complex challenges and stay at the forefront of advancements in agricultural engineering.
  • Develop and implement practical training programs that equip students with hands-on experience in agricultural engineering techniques.
Requirements
  • A level 3 qualification in Agricultural or Landbased Engineering.
  • Proven industry experience in agricultural engineering, with expertise in precision farming, sustainable agriculture, automation, or related areas.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technology used in agricultural engineering.
  • A passion for research, innovation, and staying updated with emerging trends in the field.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a commitment to fostering student success.
