Sexual Health Outreach Worker

Birmingham LGBT is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our community sexual health team as a Sexual Health Outreach Worker. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals in Birmingham and Solihull.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sexual health services from the Birmingham LGBT Centre and in off-site outreach locations.
  • Work closely with the Sexual Health Services Manager to develop and implement effective outreach strategies.
  • Collaborate with local healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct outreach activities to engage with hard-to-reach populations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sexual health outreach or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a rota including evenings and weekends.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £24,666 per annum (pro-rata) plus up to 5% matched pension contributions.
  • 25 days' annual leave per annum (pro-rata) plus bank holidays.
  • A permanent contract with opportunities for professional development.
