Job Overview:

We are seeking a Fire Engineer to join our team in Maidstone. The successful candidate will conduct fire safety assessments, develop fire protection strategies, and collaborate with architects and engineers.

  • Conduct thorough fire safety inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement fire protection strategies for new and existing buildings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.
  • Prepare and review fire safety reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Provide expert guidance on fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and fire modelling to identify potential fire hazards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in fire safety engineering.
  • Support project teams during construction and commissioning phases.

About the Position:

  • Degree in Fire Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in fire engineering with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in fire modeling software and building design tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
