As a skilled Electrician for Contract Work, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services to support a reputable public sector organization. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills while contributing to the success of our client.

About the Role:

This contract position is ideal for an experienced electrician looking for a short-term challenge or wanting to enhance their skill set.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular electrical inspections and testing to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.
  • Undertake electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on public sector properties and equipment.
  • Identify and rectify electrical faults to prevent accidents and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all electrical work meets health and safety regulations, including accurate record-keeping and certification.
Requirements:
  • Must hold City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) and City & Guilds 2382 (17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
  • Proven experience as a qualified electrician, preferably in a public sector or facilities maintenance environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and current regulations.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues effectively.
