Podiatrist - Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Podiatrist to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients across the Torbay and South Devon area, working closely with other community healthcare workers and provider agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, formulate, and implement treatment plans for patients with lower limb and foot health issues.
- Provide health education and advice to patients on maintaining good foot health.
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and carers, including those with learning difficulties or high anxiety.
- Delegate tasks and provide care plans for support staff, such as clinical support workers and students.
Requirements
- Registered Podiatrist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Degree or Diploma in Podiatric Medicine.
- Certificate in local anaesthesia administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
